6 Big Ideas for Summer

Written by admin, Saturday, March 6th, 2010 in Doing it Right, Fashion
It may be cold for much of the world, but it’s soon to get much warmer, and that’s the signal for most of us to begin to search for summer outfits- here are 6 big ideas to take with you when shopping.

Embrace the Slim Short

Don't wear baggy shorts or ugly cutoffs- if you do wear shorts, wear slim, flattering shorts that cling to the body as nicely as a pair of pants would. Keep the shorts above the knee, but below the middle of the thigh- don't go too short or too long. Various materials can be done here, but arguably the most versatile in the summer are linen and various khaki and khaki-like weaves.

I can really only see myself doing the simple style shown in picture 2. I’m not sure I’m as ready as the fashion industry to embrace tight plaid in the shorts department.
