How do I deal with going bald at the age of 19?
In short? Accept it and move on.
A lot of men are absolutely paranoid about balding, and it’s somewhat understandable. Society routinely frowns upon going bald, even though doing so is generally (a) something most men do and (b) an indicator of testosterone, which normally indicates more masculinity.
In any case, don’t fight it, don’t try to hide it, and don’t bother with medical treatments. Hiding never works, and it makes you look insecure. Medical treatments are rarely (if ever) effective, and in many cases they only prevent further hair loss (that is to say, they don’t revive what’s already lost). Naturally and unfortunately, hair plugs and other options simply look silly.
Shave your head and rock it out. It may seem hard to do initially, but you’ll be surprised how little most people care after a while. If you’re worried about looking like a balding old man, simply keep fit and dress well — you’ll look more like Bruce Willis or Jason Statham than an over-tired office worker.
Remember, no-one cares unless you do.
