Summertime is hot for the majority of us, but that doesn't mean layering is impossible. Even cardigans can be done in the hottest of days- just purchase light materials with loose weaves that breathe. There are a lot of "winter clothes" that have lighter summer weight alternatives- blazers, cardigans, and oxford shoes to name a few.

    I can really only see myself doing the simple style shown in picture 2. I’m not sure I’m as ready as the fashion industry to embrace tight plaid in the shorts department.
