Elvis Presley? Yep, you read that right. Elvis was fashionable for his time because he took traditional Southern thinking and made himself a stylish man- well, at least before the inevitable hedonism. Elvis, outside of his often over-sequined stage outfits, dressed in a way that portrayed both a young Southern man and a well dressed entertainer- from suits to the common sight of his button-down shirts.
