hey guys,
im a 19 year old college student and i am a dish washer. not the coolest thing, but i have found out that one of the prettiest/HOT!!!! (it’s a mix) waitress’ likes me but she is two years older than me and a little bit more experienced than me in just about everything and i was wondering if any of that makes a difference? and also, she just got out of a long term relationship a few months you think im a rebound?
Thanks
I say this a lot: It really depends.
Fundamentally, dating an older/more experienced girl is not a bad thing- in fact, a lot of guys (myself included) find it much better than dating younger girls. While I’m not exactly advocating dating girls double your age, girls who are older tend to be much more grounded and normal- and there’s a vast difference between a girl at 19 and a girl at 21, and you probably see that in her. On that facet, there’s no issue- if she’s interested in you, it’s pretty clear your age isn’t an issue.
As for the rebound bit, it would depend on the girl- but if it’s more than two or three months, I say you’re safe. You never really fully know if you’re a rebound until you’re actually dating the girl- so I say give it a shot. Don’t ever go into a date presuming you’re a rebound. A lot of guys have issues with previous boyfriends (worrying if they are better/worse, that sort of thing)- keep yourself from that trap. By all means, keep your eyes peeled for any signs you’re a rebound date (her mentioning her ex a lot, her jumping into things excessively quickly, that sort of thing), but other than that, have fun with her.
Long story short? Go for it!

Second on that, 2 years isn’t really that big of a difference, I have dated somebody 2 years older than me and I am around you age.
